Privacy on this field guide
This guide can be read without creating an account.
Local checklist progress
The beginner checklist stores checked boxes in this browser under asciilands-guide-checklist-v1. It is not uploaded or connected to a game character. Use Reset on the checklist or clear this site’s browser storage to remove it.
Search and calculators
Guide search, controls filters and the upkeep calculator run in your browser. Their inputs are not sent to a search service or stored as an account profile.
Analytics
Optional Umami pageview statistics are restricted to the approved production origin and public page paths. Preview addresses, Do Not Track and the standard Umami opt-out prevent tracking. Query strings, fragments and referrers are removed before sending.
YouTube
The trailer initially shows a locally served thumbnail. Choosing Play loads a YouTube privacy-enhanced embed. YouTube then receives the connection and may handle data according to its own policy. You can instead follow the video’s direct link.
Hosting and external links
Cloudflare serves this site and processes requests needed to deliver it. The official game, Discord, YouTube and the linked AI services are separate services with their own policies. AI links open the named service; you choose whether to paste the suggested public question. We do not send checklist progress or calculator inputs to them.
